| Welcome to HORSE CAMP CENTRAL !!!! The Official Web site for THE GREATEST HORSE CAMP EVER. Lauren Stone, owner & trainer of Rolling Stone Ranch and Traci Niedziela, owner of the Hideaway Ranch and retreat have put their two loves together and created something great!!! For the first time we will be offering overnight week long horse camps geared for the horse enthusiasts. |
| There will be three summer sessions with very limited enrollment. The camps will take place at The Hideaway Ranch in Bluff Dale, Texas |
| The Hideaway Ranch is nestled in the beautiful North Texas Hill Country near Glen Rose, Stephenville & Granbury. The Ranch is a working Longhorn Cattle Ranch that is secluded among hundreds of large oaks on 155 acres. Each Cabin will have a Camp Counselor trained in CPR, and emergency first aid, a full kitchen and bathroom to share. All the cabins are fully furnished, have a small fenced yard, satellite TV and a HOT TUB!!!! |
| We will be having structured Riding lessons daily, we will also Trail ride, learn about general horse care, play games on horses & even ride bareback!!!! The camp experience will be an complete immersion in horses, and the outdoors!! All children ages 7 - 16 are welcome. You do not have to have any riding experience. We can also accommodate advanced riders, though, and you are welcome to bring your own horse...or ride ours. All equipment is provided. |
| Our Instructor will be Lauren Stone. Lauren has plenty of horse experience! As the owner of Rolling Stone Ranch and successful competitor, she has developed a great technique in equestrian instruction. Lauren was trained by the instructor to the United States Equestrian Team, George Morris, and has over 30 years riding experience. She boasts numerous United States Equestrian Federation National Titles and championships. Rolling Stone Ranch is a barn that specializes in Hunters/Jumpers/Equitation Instruction but also accentuates the love of equestrian education given from Lauren. She starts children as young as three years old, has experience teaching handicap children, focuses heavily on family interaction, and even has adult groups!! It doesn't matter if you have zero experience, are a winning national show rider, want to compete, ride english, western, or only want to pleasure ride...If you love horses, and you are family oriented you have found the right instructor. |

Day camps will be horse centered and geared for those that have no or very little horse experience. Day camps are an additional cost of $175 and are from 9am to 3pm. Day camp session #1 Date: June 11 & 12 ( Wednesday & Thursday) for Camp Session #1 Day Camp Session #2 :July 8 & 9 (Tuesday & Wednesday) for Camp Session #2 Day Camp Session #3 : July 28 & 29 (Monday & Tuesday) for Camp Session #3 |

| When our campers are not riding horses they will have time for such fishing(we have several stocked ponds that host such species as Black Bass, Catfish & Perch! We will go hiking, do crafts, play games and have cowboy lessons! We will explore the property & see the stars on a twilight Hayride. Sings songs by a camp fire, and have healthy and delicious meals that are provided in our chuckwagon area |
| We will Take a break from the summer heat and take a dip.....frequently in "The Swimmin Hole" Our Pool is unique in that it's original construction was a 20,000 gallon stock tank !!!!! Fish no longer included |

| We will only be offering three camps this summer with very limited enrollment still available in each camp. All of our camps are limited to twelve. Session #1 June 16-19 Session #2 July 21-24 Session #3 August 4-7 Camps are $850 A $250 non refundable deposit is required to hold the space. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Pay Pal & Personal checks accepted. |
Camps are all inclusive. Campers will arrive Monday morning and leave Thursday Evening ( kicking & screaming for more)! We will have one "field trip excursion" to Dino world or Fossil Rim too!! Please look at the itinerary page for details on fun !!! |
